Ironbound Farm & Hard Cider Brewery, 360 County Rt. 579, Asbury NJ (no, not Asbury Park :)
I’m always happy playing at Ironbound Farm, one of my favorite venues. As the grandson of a fruit farmer who originally also hailed from the City of Newark (my grandfather from “down neck” and the Cidery’s founders from the Ironbound section), playing here is just a little more special for me. As a Hunterdon County “lifer” who grew up when small farms were the heartbeat of this place I’ve always called “home”, it always lifts my heart to see fertile ground being used for agriculture instead of commercial & residential development. Looking across Ironbound’s vibrant acreage is truly a tonic for my soul.
