My Debut at “THE OAKS” Restaurant, PA611 near Pipersville PA
First time I sat at the counter of “The Oaks” Family Restaurant (6705 Easton Rd., Pipersville PA), the room and vibe reminded me of TV’s “Cheers” (minus the beer & cocktails) in the “where everybody knows your name” sense. Owner/Chef Mike and his crew made me feel welcome and it was easy to see why the place has so many local “regulars”. It’s usually a breakfast & lunch cafe, but Mike prepares and serves delicious and reasonably-priced dinners on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, when The Oaks also occasionally features live music.
I’m happy to announce my “Oaks” debut – Thursday evening, Dec. 5, from 5-8pm. It being December and all, I’ll be adding some Holiday Tunes to my usual multi-genre mix of “undercovered” tunes by everybody from John Prine to Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles to Willie Nelson.
